Well, the WiiU has had quite a silent start in 2013 to say the least, and Nintendo fans are craving core games…immensely. However, a supreme piece of juicy gossip hit the internet today regarding two AAA titles. A document released today supposedly revealing the release dates for “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6: Patriots” and “Watch Dogs”. More interestingly, from a Nintendo fan perspective, is that the article states that both games will be available on the Wii U. If confirmed, this will be groundbreaking news and a major victory for Wii U owners.
One has to wonder if this is one of the reasons Rainbow 6: Patriots has been delayed multiple times in the past year. Developers might be trying to develop for all three consoles at once for a possible simultaneous release of all three on day one. Both titles are listed as releasing in December of this year.
Ubisoft hasn’t been too popular this past week with their Rayman Legends delay for Wii U owners. This could definitely make an amends and peace offering to gamers who were burnt by the Rayman fiasco. Lets hope that this rumor becomes a reality very soon. Again though, take this with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet.
