As the title insinuates, the upcoming Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the Wii U will not be a “vanilla” version of the game as Alex Ward from Criterion Games stated today. As opposed to simply porting the game, they wanted to make this version stand out a bit more so that it “feels” like it belongs on the Wii U. Thanks to the system’s RAM, Criterion was able to bring over the PC version’s texture work, along with enhanced lighting effects that are truly stunning to see in action. Alex Ward stated that Miiverse and Autolog will be integrated together seamlessly and that it was a natural fit.
In the developer interview he provided to GamesRadar today, he wanted to showoff how the Wii U version was stacking up, how it looks visually and go in-depth with the new “Co-Driver” mode. Check out the video below!
