Resident Evil 6 Gets a Patch Update; Adds Camera Extension and Co-Op Partner for Ada

Capcom announced that a new patch update will be on the way for Resident Evil 6. The update adds the feature to play Ada’s campaign with a co-op partner now, while also allowing you to adjust the camera settings a bit. Ada’s campaign will now be available from the very beginning and will be partnered with a generic, masked soldier. However, if you still prefer to play Ada’s campaign without a partner, as it was originally intended, you can do that as well.

The camera can now be extended further back as well. Many complained that the camera was too close so Capcom has made a work around for this. In the screenshots below, you’ll notice how close the camera is and how you can adjust it after the update. This, like Ada’s co-op partner, are completely optional and not mandatory switches upon updating the game.

The update will also add “No Hope” difficulty for masochists and the ability to choose different subtitle languages while having a different audio language.

Here’s the catch to the update however…it won’t go live until mid-December. We’ll keep you informed as to what day the update will go live exactly for the PS3/360. What do you guys think of this update? Sound off in the comments below!
