Assassin’s Creed III is getting the Season Pass treatment, and early adopters are in for a huge first release in its line-up.
The Season Pass will be available for the first six months after the game’s release, and will sell at 2400 Microsoft Points or $29.99 on the PSN store. Ubisoft has given us a taste of the first piece of DLC to be offered. Titled “The Tyranny of King Washington”, it will provide an alternate storyline to the game’s main campaign, where Washington will give in to a lust for power and rule America with a tyrannical hand. Players will take control of Connor as he is forced to eliminate his former friend. The DLC will take place in three episodic installments, all of which will be available on their own, or as part of the Season Pass.
Assassin’s Creed III is slated for release on October 30, 2012 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U. However, the Season Pass will only be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3, while Wii U owners will need to purchase each piece of DLC separately.
