Okay, so we’re still waiting on Kingdom Hearts 3, but Square-Enix has another title that might hold you over. Remember the rumored HD collection? It’s real, but possibly not quite as grand as we predicted.
Following in Squenix’s series of oddly-titled games, 1.5 HD Remix will contain remakes of Kingdom Hearts Remix, Re: Chain of Memories, and 358/2 Days. The first title may be the most interesting though, as it’s never been released outside of Japan, and contains lots of tweaks and new content. This version will be totally re-vamped for HD, while the other two games will be upscaled for HD screens. Cutscenes will play in widescreen resolution.
Other details are sketchy at this point, but the game is slated to be coming to the PS3 next year.
